Their Pizza is probably the best pizza in town. Pizza Hut is pretty good stuff but for the price Pizza Palace has them beat. Now, this place makes a pastrami sandwich that is hands-down the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. If you like pastrami sandwiches I highly recommend it.. you will not regret it. Update:. Still the best pastrami sandwich in town (or in the area, for that matter). The employees work very hard and manage to be friendly, too.

Orland is not that big of a town but it is next to interstate 5 so if you are traveling and want to have a really good pizza this is the best pizza in town in my opinion. I will provide a photo of a personal pizza for 10 bucks. They give you the ingredients and by that I mean they give you enough cheese and enough meat. I usually get Canadian bacon mushrooms and garlic on my personal pizza which is what you will see in the photo I don't know about you but I think a lot of pizza places skimp on the ingredients because they think that the atmosphere or the beer or whatever is gonna be good enough and the television sets. Well, this place has all that and the small town environment and it's clean. But what you are going to eat will be nutritious and sufficient instead of leaving you like he just ate a bunch of white bread. Parking is free and easy in Orland. If you want a pizza and you're driving on interstate 5 stop by here for a pizza it's just a couple blocks away. I live in Chico and the best pizza in Chico is Farm Star so I don't have any stake in this, I don't have a social connection with the owners, I just want to reward a good place.

This place is great. Apologetically they do not have air conditioning. It's a 100 year old building and would cost a ridiculous amount of money to have one installed. The prices may seem expensive but the food is definitely worth the price. You try running a small family owned business and have the ability to pay your employees and make sure to enough product to feed the population. You need to ASK if there are specials or discounts. The employees are NOT required to let you know these things. They DO NOT accept anything over a 50 bill. Unless your order totaled at least 75 dollars or more. Not their fault....not enough cash to change out YOUR 100 bill and have enough cash for other customers. Be considerate of them and the rules they must follow.

First time visiting this restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and speedy. She explained their menu and informed me they had a "Take-n-BakeMenu" That was the perfect option for me. The pizza I ordered was a Garlic Chicken Supreme, it was loaded with fresh toppings and a huge amounts of chicken. It was delicious, very filling, and the price was reasonable. The garlic cheesy bread was the bomb. Definitely visiting the Pizza Palace again in Orland.
